Most recruitment programs are always looking for people with knowledge in all of Oracle's modules. When applying for Oracle positions, be sure to explain to your recruiter the following:
- Background (college and experience, e.g. accounting, marketing)
- Oracle module experience
- SQL experience
- DB2 experience
- Communication skills
- Whether you have a security clearance or are clearable
While these are not the only requirements for all consulting positions, they are of utmost importance. Oracle recruitment teams will be specifically looking for people who have excellent written and oral communication skills, as most projects require the ability to work with reports and to work with clients. When working with clients, you may be communicating day-to-day progress on the project or you may be teaching the client how to use its new database.
