In order to get an Oracle developer job, you must meet certain requirements including:

PL/SQL Forms/ReportsOracle 10gToad experienceOracle application server installationOracle application server configurationWebUtilOracle DB design experienceJava.NETAn Oracle developer supports strategies that ensure the integrity of any decisions that concern Oracle ERP applications. An Oracle developer is expected to work as part of a functional team in order to implement sites on Oracle ERP. Oracle software development with R11 may be required for manufacturing EBS modules.

Additionally, the Oracle developer must have the ability to communicate technical ideas, perform system troubleshooting and establish and maintain effective business relationships with clients.

General skills include:

Organizational skills Team player Multi-tasking Problem solving skills Written and oral communication skills SQL skills XML skillsThe more skills an Oracle developer has, the further and faster she can move up in the company. Obtaining additional skills during employment is also a bonus, so the Oracle developer should be willing to learn new modules.
